Community Projects and Programs

The following projects & Programs make a difference in the lives of youth and the community.

 

Youth Appreciation Week (YAW) - Recognizes student's talents in the arts, athletics, academics and their contributions to the community.

 

Sports and recreation - Promotes self-confidence and physical fitness and includes:

  • Annual youth Christmas Party
  • Annual youth camp-out - 3 days
  • Athletic teams in organized leagues: Baseball, Football, Basketball, Wrestling and Soccer

 

Safety - Helps keep children safe in their leisure activities and encompasses the following:

  • Always buckle children in the back seat (ABC)

 

Health and Welfare - Promotes awareness of disease and provides support for children and their families.

  • Substance Abuse Prevention
  • Holiday Food Baskets for 200 families
  • Childhood Cancer Campaign

 

Culture and Education - This program prepares youth for their future and encompasses anything that makes a difference in their lives (includes senior citizens).
