Statement of Duties

 

The Old Town Optimist Club currently consists of 37 volunteer members who are organized as follows:

Board of Directors

• Six elected members who determine club policies

President

• One elected member who coordinates and encourages the implementation of club programs and policies and who presides at club and board meetings

Vice Presidents

• Two elected members who serve as liaison between the Board of Directors and the members

Secretary

• One appointed member who maintains minutes of club and board meetings.

Treasurer

• One appointed member who receives and disperses all club funds and supervises the budget and heads the finance committee

Membership

• Currently consists of 37 men and women who want to reach out to help youth and the community.

Join us

Meetings of the Old Town Optimist Club are held every other Wednesday at 7pm, at the Villa Di Capo Restaurant located on Central and 8th St.
